When Flecam went to Uganda for the first time in 2007, we landed in Bulanga town. Apostle Isaac Olang, Bishop Ademba William, Apostle Mwaniki, Elizabeth and I were in the first mission team. We were invited by Rev. Musisi Richard and received by Apostle Kakaire Jethro. Bishop Godfrey Kasadha, Pst. David Waiswa and Bishop David Bwoye were the hosting team.
We are planning a back to the roots mission and this time we will make it annual. Consistency is key!!!
Here is a short profile of Bulanga
Bulanga town council, Luuka district, Busoga Sub region, in Eastern Uganda. Located along the highway between Iganga and Jinja. Bulanga town is a business center with all sorts of business dealings, most of the citizens are business men with small and middle scales, peasant and few farmers.
Spiritual life:
Still struggling to penetrate though we now sense some victories, in the year 2000, we had 2 born again churches and today we have 19 churches. Bulanga is known to populated with the largest number of Moslems and having 9 big mosques, Anglican, Born again and catholic.
Leadership:
Leadership training/teaching still needed for leadership development. Many desire to learn but since can't afford to go for Bible colleges due to financial challenge.
God bless you.
